READ:
The disciples approached Jesus and said, “Who is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven?” He called a child over, placed it in their midst, and said, “Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the Kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven.”
–Matthew 18:1-4
REFLECT:
As we celebrate the Feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, the patron saint of CMF CURO, we reflect on what spiritual childhood, the little way, means. It means trusting like a child in our Heavenly Father because we know that He loves us. It means being content with what we have and serving Christ for the pure joy of serving Him. It means choosing to be small, unimportant, and simple, so that the heart of Jesus Christ will be so captivated by our love that He raises us up to the heights of sanctity.
RESPOND:
Ask St. Therese the Little Flower to intercede for you before the throne of God.
