The Christ Medicus Foundation (CMF) and CMF CURO have worked devotedly over the past few years to advance the Conscience Protection Act of 2017 , a bill that would protect the right of conscience of health care providers, professionals, and facilities from participating in morally-objectionable procedures like abortions.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and other Catholic groups – including the Christ Medicus Foundation – have released a letter in support of the legislation and urging Congress to speedily pass the bill in order to protect the deeply-held convictions of so many Americans on the issue of human life.
CMF is blessed to be part of such work and hopeful that the bill may soon pass.
