CMF CURO director Louis Brown spoke to the Catholic News Agency about the Bishops’ letter on health care reform. In the article, Brown said that the new plan will begin to restore a culture of life in health care and protect those who choose to participate in alternative approaches like health sharing ministries:
“[The plan] is a first step to restoring an American health care system where the dignity of the person is at the center, not the mandates of the government.”
The Bishops also pushed for conscience protections and the defense of religious liberties.
