On December 16, members of the CMF CURO team attended and sponsored a healing retreat event at the St. John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, D.C., called “Healing in the Heart of the Father.”
This one-day healing retreat featured lectures by Dr. Mary Healy of Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, and a healing service by Fr. Greg Bramlage, director of new evangelization for the Diocese of Colorado Springs.
The lectures focused on hearing and accepting God’s call as a loving Father and finding healing from physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental wounds in his paternal heart.
The powerful healing service featured full-body praise, worship, and intense prayers for healing. A vital part of the CMF CURO mission is the health and care of not only the body, but also of the mind and the spirit. This event was a beautiful witness to how Christ, the Divine Physician, does truly want to bring us into his heart and heal us of our deepest wounds. We prayed for all our members and their sufferings. CMF CURO hopes to be a tool for this healing and peace.
Along with the National Shrine and the DC Divine Mercy community, CMF CURO was glad to sponsor the event.
