Heavenly Father,
We your children ask you to bless us
As your patriarchs of old would bless their sons,
So that we might be good and faithful stewards
Who do your will and bring greater glory to you.
We pray that with your grace, we may please you
In imitation of your beloved Son with whom you were well pleased.
We also ask you to bless all earthly fathers,
That they may embrace their vocations,
And that they may know they are loved by you and their families.
We ask all this in the name of your Son, Jesus.
